Installation, after the Last Supper

Décadence Éternelle

The table of the Last Supper, with no one left. Only Judas's coin remains.

A reproduction of the table from Leonardo's Last Supper, emptied of its guests: decaying leftovers, overturned glasses, shards on the floor and, isolated in a beam of light, a silver coin, Judas's.

Over 33 days the food genuinely decays. Over a rhythmic soundtrack, the installation speaks of betrayal, guilt, the fragility of human bonds and the brevity of earthly glory.
